Yes, My car is a March 29th SJ car with auto, 2:80 gears, Black Pony Interior with the original woodgrain appointments, Code, PS, Power Drum brakes and lots of Anniversary Gold paint underneath about three really bad Earl Schibe type paint jobs. Everywhere I sand down to work on this car, there is gold paint as the bottom layer except where it was patched in the rear quarters and front fender. 198,000 well documented miles on this baby and still going strong...suspension rebuild about 30K ago but the engine is original and no smoke or loss. The original owner just couldn't pass up that gold paint sitting on the lot on his way home from work in Colorado one day, stopped in immediately and bought the car that day. He drove it daily, his son drove it daily...about 10 years in CO, another 12 in Arizona, moved it to OR and sold immediately to the guy I bought it from who knew what it was and had it in storage for the last 18 years until I bough it to restore this year. This guy has another one with a Salt Lake DSO if I remember right and a White Pony interior. Mine was the "rougher" of the two.
