Topic: 1967 Mustang GTA S code torque box gusset

I have a 1967 Mustang GTA S code dec build. I'm putting in a torque box but wasn't sure if it supposed to have the gusset on it. Here are two pictures, one with and one without.

I don't  see that on my 67 s code fb April  67 SJ  ,not sure  what  that first picture is ,I am going  out on a limb  is the one with gusset  a convertible, or performance  suspension

Looking at other December 67 San Jose examples your car would not have had the "gusset" you show in the first picture

I have a Dec 66 build FE car. No gusset on mine either.

To my knowledge the gusset was first used on the 68 model.
