I know you were interested in a 70 Dearborn but just wanted to add that my Jan.10th 1969 built Q code also had the shield but never had the firewall drilled for the screws, just the dimples are there

Was it also built at Dearborn?     Helps allot in the big picture ;)

Just looked at a low mile 70  sportsroof NJ  scj car and no heater guard screw holes but dont know if the guard was ever in place as car was raced back in the day. So anybody else got a 70 NJ cj car without the guard? thanks
