68 San Jose Firewall Clips amd Retainers
« on: February 07, 2016, 06:02:00 PM »
This topic is split from a 67 discussion/other thread in hopes that we can focus on one year and assembly plant for the benefit of members searching/interested in specific details  ;)

67 San Jose 390 Drivers Side Firewall Pictures at accelerator pivot

Jeff, nice bonus pic of the big block A/T accelerator pivot!

Also seen in the photo: the grey rubber screw protector. I grabbed one off of a '67 SJ junkyard car this summer. Were those used into '68 in SJ? Same question for the black plastic strap.

In many applications there are two of the grey taillight stud style caps used. Think there is at least one prior thread discussing those details.  Yes these were used into 68 at least as San Jose.

As for the plastic loop/strap above the accelerator here are some 68 San Jose examples

8R01C1650xx - Lots of cool original clips in this picture. E shaped brake line clip, flat plastic clip to the left (in the picture) of the accelerator
