Have a RP I picked up a while ago. Unsure if it is original or not. I think it is, but could use some confirmation, as I' am more familiar with 68s.
Pic below. It has a C4 FoMoCo tag on the clock harness, good sign. The tach has ink stamp from Faria Corp, New London, CT, which I think is correct as the supplier of tachs (or one of them) to Ford.
The housing is cast, except for the fascia between the instruments, plastic.
The wires are, typically, cut. Does anyone have a photo of a OEM showing what should be there?
And there is a tiny red wire wrapped around the clock housing, and not connected to anything. I am unsure if this is original, or some attempt at a ? ? ? by a PO.
