Body filler
« on: December 30, 2015, 11:50:05 AM »
Just wanted to say that I have used Bondo and Evercoat Z-Grip in the past.  I went with a suggestion to try Evercoat Rage Gold.  Wow,  what an improvement.
This stuff spreads easy and more importantly sands easy.  I am six years older than the last time I done some sanding and was dreading this part of the build.  I am very impressed with the product.  I started sanding with a long block and literally thought I was holding a power tool.
Just wanted to pass this along as it saves time and energy.  Just a precaution though.  You can cut through it very quickly with 80 grit so be careful to not take too much off.  Something else I would like to pass along,  I went to Lowe's and found that the drywall sand paper works just as good as autobody sand paper and is half of the price. I couldn't tell any difference when compared to the 3M paper I had from previous projects.
Happy New Years folks.
