Ok either I cannot remember where I stored them over the last 3 years or I must not have bought them (I am sure I already bought everything)  but I am coming up short a few parts. Strut bushings, rear wheel cylinders, coil spring insulators. Making a list and checking it twice. Bet I find them after the build. LOL anyway here is where I am at on day 1 of assembly.

 I know the feeling! I'm doing two Camaros ('71 resto-mod & '70 race/street back-half car) and I have a ton of parts for both cars. It's hard to remember, without checking receipts or inventory, just what was purchased for either...........or what I still need!

Just wanted to note to others viewing this thread that originally the bottom of the frame rails in front would not be painted black or batch color as shown in the first and third picture of the undercarriage

Changed the title so that you will not have to make a separate one for every day you work on the car

Typically the worker painting stood above the engine compartment  so that they could reach the firewall at back and down its face  so it would have required that the worker bend over fully to get the spray gun two feet or more below the frame to get the paint to coat that surface. Considering that at that plant the wheel wells didn't get much or any black paint (maybe only 30% nearer to the front radiator attaching area)  there would have been no reason for the painter to apply paint to the top of the inner fenders, skip much of the inner fender panels (facing where the wheels would be eventually) and then spray black on the bottom surface of the frame rail

Normally we see body color from about the rear edge of the shock tower back towards the rear of the car on both sides of the inner fender panels but could be applied in the shock tower area for that year and plant

Love the color - have had a couple in that same color - always a favorite

I'm getting ready to paint mine, I wanted to paint it deck lid on, but I can't for the life of me find the torsion spring....

Rear valance was originally painted on the car and in your example (and plant) all of the retaining screws would have been painted body color. The rear bumper guard brackets that attach to the frame behind the valance would have been attached prior to this so the one visible mounting bolt in the trunk would be fully painted body color since it was in place when the trunk was painted with body color

Sorry missed the focus with the multiple questions

Bottom of the frame rails would be different color from the firewall forward (red oxide)  on a Dearborn car in 65-66 and a different (likely batch) firewall rearward before the exterior and engine bay paint is applied.

Since the black would not have been applied to the wheel well side of the inner fender wells in front from at least midway rearward the painter would have no reason to paint (plus access would have been difficult or impossible)  the bottoms of the frame rails from where they were standing. On original cars we normally see black on the brackets that hang down on the outer (towards engine location) and inner surface with a soft line as it transitions to the bottom of the frame rail
