Tie down brackets
« on: November 22, 2015, 06:17:26 AM »
Hi. I took the tie down brackets off my car while painting the underside and have noticed that they don't look like anything I've found on the net.
Are they correct and if so should they be red oxide colour like the underside?

Any tie does would be added after paint, so no red oxide.

Never seen any like those pictured myself.

By reading your "lingo" (an old American Wild West name for language), you have got to be "down under", and those tie downs may have been used to get your car "down there".
