Help with 351w Thermostat id
« on: November 11, 2015, 08:39:11 PM »
Can some one please show me a picture of the correct Thermostat Housing for my 69 351w H- code. Some I see on ebay have the tree connection hole and some don't. What is correct.

With the hole. Many times it is plugged with a square head pipe plug from the factory if the vacuum tree is not used in the application.

Gorgeous pictures.  Thanks so much as I know that will help several who view this. Those must be boss's due to the color on the intake man. In the manual it shows in the engine diagrams that the tree is present on the 351W 2v with ac.  mine is not a/c and there is no diagram in my manual for non a/c 351w 2v's to depict weather I need to put the tree in or block it off.  That's might be a dumb question, but I really cant figure out what is correct.  I did have an "ah" moment when I saw the by pass hose painted engine color.  I forgot that and Its still on the engine stand so I can correct that..

What transmission? Its not in your signature Found it in one of your other posts

Looking at the vacuum diagram (one not posted with the others in the article listed in the 69 Library section) no ported vacuum switch (PVS) was used on your application
