Our cars are about 9 days apart (10/29/64, 5R09A1523XX).  I have regular 65 headlight buckets and hood.  I have the two speed heater switch (off in center position), c clips on the door and window handles, bezel nut on the windshield wiper, slotted spare tire hold down, vinyl on the rocker panel (although verts don't have this).

So what would I look for on the hood and headlight buckets? Are there other parts I should also check?
The inner point of 64 and some early leftover 65 buckets are slanted down to provide clearance of the lip of the hood. The must be pictures here somewhere.
- - vinyl on the rocker panel (although verts don't have this).
I thought that the carpet for a Fastback was different than a coup, although early 65 Fastbacks had a few redesigned items early on (running changes like rear trim caps near the door).

I didn't think convertibles have the vinyl because the floorboard is different in that area and couples/fastbacks have the same type of floorboard.  I also have the little metal end caps on the fastback trim as well

I'm currently working on a 1965 SJ K Code Convertible with a October 17, 1964 scheduled build date. It has the two holes in the support braces on both sides. I guess that Ford was using up their inventory.
