Same question for May 65 SJ V-8 power steering car. Found 1 green stripe on the mounting post. Found light blue marks on the bottom of the idler arm, both ends of the tie rods, and on the power cylinder. The long center (steering rod to idler arm) rod has two obvious marks. They actually could almost be described as stripes since they go at least 3/4 of the way around the rod. Both are located in the middle area between the bolt holes that are 13" apart. The one toward the control valve is light blue. The one toward the other end of the rod is very faint but is pink.
Anything I might have missed?
The spindles are a mystery. I found yellow markings but I don't think they are original to the car. Any thoughts on what I should see on the spindles? Thank you.
