69 Grill Molding
« on: September 08, 2015, 11:38:07 PM »
I ordered some new grill moldings, the ones that go on the inside of the inner headlight buckets.  They came with hardware three short screws and two spring nuts.  The original piece I have has two black push pins. The assembly manual shows a spring nut but states that item has been removed.  Can anybody verify the correct fastener, the car in question is for my 69 Dearborn car.

Thanks,

The black pins I have seen on most original cars.  Good luck!

+1 - use to be able to pick these up at the local Auto paint stores and even the local auto stores. Haven't tried lately
