1970 Power Steering Hoses
« on: August 09, 2015, 11:29:54 PM »
Hello all.

Looking for a little help with the short ("shortie") power steering hoses for a '70 Mustang Mach1 M code built at Dearborn on 11/10/69.

Both C6OA-3A714 / 717 & D0ZA-3A714 / 717 versions are available but I do not know when the changeover occurred or possibly at different
times depending on assembly plant?

Any help would be much appreciated!!

they were both c6oa eng #  one ends in 14 other 17  & in 70 they will have double crimps vs  single crimp 67-69

Hi Ed.

Thanks for the feedback.

I was going to order a pair from Blue Dot Specialties and then noticed they offer the C60A single crimp style and also a D0ZA double crimp style.
I also found the same thing offered by Mansfield Mustang.

So just to confirm, I need the C60A version with double crimped fittings?  Were the D0ZA versions factory correct for any Mustangs or just an
incorrect reproduction part?

Thanks again!!

Aaron

incorrectly id # as 70 short hoses still have c6oa eng # & c6oz ford part # on paper tag when serviced thru ford same hoses just double crimped over single crimp.
