Originals have "horse hair" embedded in the plastic they are made from giving them are particular look and feel. Have a chunk of one I keep for judging classes as a visual aid. Have to look for it and take a picture

The books shows that the shroud should be marked with C7ZE-A (and yes the 67 MPC shows the part number for your application and 67 GT500's as C7ZZ-8146-A )
Unfortunately the MPC is incorrect and you should find the markings to be C7ZE-8146-A
It should also have the FoMoCo marking in the square rectangle as shown below - purple arrow
An original version of the 1967 Mustang/Shelby big block radiator shroud
