Cool, thank you! I wasn't sure if 20F was the order date, scheduled date or actual build date. It's interesting that a June build was still using the Nov. 67 form and not the Feb 68 form.

Build sheets almost always carry the projected build date - that is where the guy stamping out the door tags took the information from


As for the automatic buildsheet posted (thanks Kerry)
In ways I'm happy to see that Cougars were marked and buildsheets were the same as Mustangs in 68. The extra stripes you found are typical but not used for identification purposes for assembling your car. Its not unusual for us to find additional (over the 2-3 depending on the year)  stripes on Mustangs either. They just aren't listed on the build sheets making it more difficult to document and help out with those details
