finish on1966 mustang strut rod washer

What is the finish on strut rod washers for a 1966 mustang V8, NJ, July 1 build, car?

Where can I buy two headlight bulbs with Fomoco logo, and GE, or Westinghoue, or Tung Sol logos?

I would think that the HUGE Strut washers are ZINC coated, but I'll let others reply.

You can get the "FOMOCO" repros made by Scott Drake at any Mustang vendor.  NPD is the only vendor I know that carries the ink stamped FOMOCO bulbs as well as the newer Scott Drake repros which are nice...though the Ink stamped ones are in limited supply.  Most GM vendors carry the repro Tung Sol bulbs in both sizes, and good original GE bulbs can still be found on ebay..

The strut rod washers were phosphate and oil. I don't think that you'll find the GE, TS or Westinghouse bulbs from a vendor. It has been my experience that their are some reproductions being made that don't have the correct manufacture names on them. You'll probally have to find original bulbs or NOS someone.

+1 . FYI NJ may not have used all three vendors of bulbs.   SJ for instance typically used GE and TS during that 65/66 time period. Be prepared ,the repros are poor  .

I have a friend that last year sold a 1966 A Code GT SJ Fastback with about 41,000 original miles. The car had all it's dated coded sheet metal, engine components, emissions, transmission, rear end and original window sticker.  The proposed build date for this car was sometime in October 1965 with a 71 DSO. This car was purchased with Westinghouse FOMOCO script headlamps of which I believe were sold new with this Mustang. I offered to trade him some original GE FOMOCO etched headlamps before the sale of the car but he said no.

That sounds like out of the ordinary and not typical. I have not ever come across a Westinghouse (raised glass letters) on any of the 65,66,or 67 SJ cars I have come across in a unmolested context. I have seen hundreds . Although admittedly just a small fractional sampling of production in those years at the SJ plant, it is enough IMHO from my perspective to come to the conclusion that the Westinghouse is not typical but more out of the ordinary. That is not to say it couldn't happen just not typical. Like I said in my previous post reply #3 . ;)
