Hi all,
These brackets were in a misc parts box that came with the car. Its a 65 convertible built in Sept 64 at SJ.
The first bracket has red body overspray on it. Its metal with and the bolt has an "L" on it. The other hole has no thread. It's approx 5 1/8 inches long.
The next four brackets came in a sealed bag as a set. They are aluminium, approx 2 3/4 inches long and came with the screws washers and nuts shown.
Any idea as to what these may be would be greatly appreciated.
As aluminum parts, they would not be Ford original. They might be -
side window stop bolts & bracket. i believe they are shown in the factory shop manual.
- for the rear quarter window.
The pictures of the hardware in the bags is misleading as there is poor reference to size. Open the bags and measure them. It will make ID somewhat easier. The carriage bolts may be for the bumper. They all look like "aftermarket".
First one is half of the power steering hose bracket that attaches at the lower control arm.
Agree, along with a two hole rubber insulator, and a bracket that "hooks" in the hole at the end. The missing parts probably stayed with the hoses. The screw looks original, the bracket looks bent.
