Topic: Which tire would have been on my 68 from the factory?

I don't have a Marti (not sure if it even tells you?),  but what tire most likely would have been on my car:  68, made in Nov 67, Gt 390 fastback, auto, 3.25 open, made in Detroit.

The Marti report, even the basic version, will tell.   The GT option narrows the alternatives, but I don't think we can seal the deal without the report.

Also, could have been a no size radial. Most people do not realize that radials were a factory option starting mid-year 67. I got Marti reports on two 67 K code convertibles that I wanted to do a Thoroughbred on. Both had the radial tires on the Marti report. Needless to say I didn't buy either car as the radial tires from 67 just do  not exist!

For MCA Concours judging standards, the three accepted options are F70 X 14 Wide-Oval (WSW), FR70 X 14 Wide-Oval Radial (WSW) and
185-R14 Radial (WSW).
 
I  would stick with what 67gt289 said, get the Marti report to determine which tire came with you car.

i have a 68 fastback C code and on marty i have F70X14 wide oval tire !
