What is the original colour (+ eng/part. number) of the early 67 ignition coil (in german Zündspule)? Yellow cap, black body?

Semi gloss black body and Mustard Yellow top as has been mentioned . The trademark/date stamp had little variation for 67 production and would typically have the Autolite trademark and relevant date stamp . Given the location of where it is stamped , the orientation of where it is place on the coil , where the coil is placed in the coil bracket and engine identification sticker placed on the coil , it is hard if not impossible to see the stamp once installed. Maybe only a edge of the stamp is visible and maybe not. The coil body many times came with small dings and dents before being placed in the bracket so don't be much concerned about that. The most important thing IMO is the condition and appearance of the top of the coil and the coil bracket details.
