69 leaf springs - C9ZA-5556-N
« on: March 28, 2015, 04:52:41 PM »
I've searched here and on other sites trying to find this leaf spring id, but it hasnt come up anywhere.  I have several sets of leaf springs, and am starting on a 69 mach 1 for my wife.  Most of the ones I have are 4 leaf, but this one is a 5.  Was curious what they came in originally, since her car will just be a really nice driver and not (gasp) concours I'd really prefer not to put in a pair that might be harder to find than the others....save it for the next build.  :)  The dates on both are G1-9D.

Anyone have any info on a c9 -n 5 pack leaf spring and what it came in?  Grande, convert, sportsroof, etc?  I asked a few years ago and never received a response.  Going through parts again for 2 69s I'm working on and was hoping for help id'ing them.

Thanks!

I would suggest calling Eaton Detroit springs as they claim to to have Ford drawings for all of the Mustang leaf springs to build from. The extra leaf is unusual. Report back on what you find.    https://www.eatondetroitspring.com/
