I noticed that, wonder if the original is around.  I always wonder why people do this, but Marti sells such pretty ones, maybe people think it is a good idea to use them?

A lot of amateur work there, probably should have left it alone.  I do like the patina of the interior though.

The hood should be the first gen style without the front edges turned out, someone probably turned out the edges thinking it was wrong the other way.

Overall it's a neat car, but would require a lot of work to fix the areas restored incorrectly and restore additional areas that should have been done.

I would have thought that the jack handle would be of the open type not rounded. He has the correct spare tire wing nut.

Carpet is incorrect...wish they were a little closer, I'd go look and bring my camera to take shots of any paint markings. Really only a 4-1/2 hour drive but just don't have the time.

The biggest "issue" I see in the engine compartment is the lower 4 groove pulley with only one belt??? What gives man??   He also speaks of the steering wheel having no cracks but in the second interior pic it clearly looks cracked at the base to me ??    Maybe I'm seeing things?  Alot of little issues but a good looking driver.

 If Mustang production started on March 9th, and this car was built on March 25th; how would this qualify as "pre-production"?  Early production. I think this guy is full of it.

Believe that someone must have changed out the stamped steel pulley's, thinking they were not correct for a 260.  I'm not sure if all 260's had stamped steel pulley's, but most I have seen did.  Not sure why 289's would have cast iron, maybe an engine assembly plant thing.

Yes, agree, they most likely do not understand the early date codes.
