Radiator part numbers on the frames
« on: April 21, 2010, 10:08:10 PM »
I have part numbers on 2 radiator frame braces.
DEP C4ZE 8005 M1 5BC, the 5BC is a smaller type size than the rest of the characters
DEP C4ZE 8005 T1 4FG, the 4FG is smaller as well.
Can anyone break the part numbers down and tell me what the application is.
The M1 came off off a mid June 64 V-8 and the T1 came off a mid May 64 6 banger.
The C4ZE 8005 is the base part number. I'm curious about the rest.

The Ford engineering number identified the application (M1, T1, G2, Y2,.........)

The (for example) 5BC would be the date the unit was assembled

Believe the "DEP" may be the supplier

For whatever it's worth here are the numbers from an original Dearborn 6 cyl Jan '65 radiator.
