Radio bezels
« on: March 16, 2015, 11:26:11 PM »
My original radio bezel (non-console) is marked with a C8ZA part number. 67's had a C7ZA part number. Looking at photos I cannot see any differences. What changed?

I don't have both in front of me right now, but I'm almost certain that the 68 plate has more rounded edges on the chrome lower edge across the bottom below the radio. There were a handful of changes to make the interiors of the 68 safer (less sharp edges and corners) and this was one of them.  The radio delete plates are also different, but both have a 67 engineering number with a difference suffix ( -a and -b)

You nailed it. I can see the flatter edge in photos of 67's, and my 68 has a full rounded edge. I never would have noticed, but now it's obvious once you know it's there. Thanks!
