wich color suppose to be the upper stone guard ? body color on the top and primer Under ?

See the attached picture showing how it was hanging when painted off the vehicle.  Body color on top.  I would expect overspray on the bottom.  This is an area difficult to get on photos of original cars.  The few that I have (F and T) are too dirty or rusty to tell.  Maybe Jeff can come up with some rust free examples.
