The PPG number should be 32586.

FYI  I have yet to see the product cover well regardless of MFG. Many have found it helpful to lay down a light coat of black as a base coat before applying the Dark charcoal Metallic top coat. This keeps from having to lay down too thick a coat of the DCM which in the case of any area that has a grain ,the thicker application has a tendency to fill in the grain giving the wrong look . If someone hasn't done this before or has but isn't aware of the consequences then it could be a problem for you. Something you may or may not want to confirm with your "Dealer". The best of luck with your project.

As mentioned in many previous threads you might try Auto Color Library and check to see if they will ship to Canada.

If they do its up to you if you choose to use or shot it.

I used to work for a global food manufacturing company. Most formulas and processes are closely guarded secrets. In this case it would be dependent on specific manufacturers ingredients to get a desired results.

PPG is illegal in Canada, or importing paints is illegal?

We have PPG paint over here but the PPG 32586 is unavailable over here, something with the environnement laws..so we can't have the formula for the mix ...yes i think i can order paint from usa, just need a place to order this paint !

and do you use the same paint for the dash, door and fiberglass panel ?!

i check with a usa compagny and they offert this paint in this 3 options :

ppg basecoat or our restoration shop paint in base coat or singles stage ...?

can i use one for all the metal like dash, door and the fiberglass panel too or i need 2 different paint ?

Would use a single stage - multiple coats means less grain detail. Then your just wasting your time for a restoration

Some paitn can be used on all the interior sheet metal and fiberglass/plastic panels

Did see a mention on my link of being a vinyl dye - just as "Mustang INTERIOR PAINT, SPRAY, LACQUER, 67-73 BLACK METALLIC (ACTUALLY IT S DARK CHARCOAL METALLIC AS ORIGINAL)"

Believe its very similar to what I've used from them before. As mentioned in other threads. Apply it over a thin base of semi-gloss black, then two light dry full coats of the Dark Charcoal Metallic. Wet heavy coats will fill up the grain. I still need to redo one of my cars since I did just that 25 years ago on it.    .... Yes I'll get to it one day  ::)

for the semi gloss black to put under the VP-4464 , did you recommend a brand ? It's a black primer or can you show me a good stuff to buy for that..really don't know anything about paint !!
