How should a starter be finished for a 69 351 w auto? Is there any part numbers on them ? Any photos of finished or clean originals?

The entire starter will be painted up to almost the block end .There is no tape line because a mask was used . A soft edge (foggy line).  The end wasn't completely painted so the starter could achieve a good ground. The engineering number was metal stamped into the case.
