Dearborn buck tag, correct finish?
« on: April 18, 2010, 12:12:54 AM »
Is the buck tag on my 69 Mach painted same as the core support or maybe left natural color? This is the tag screwed to the front of core support behind right headlamp extension.

This buck tag was screwed to the core support prior to painting - it should be black.

Correct but many will lay down a light coat of bare steel to protect from surface rusting as done in some other parts of the car
