65/66 Steering stop differences
« on: February 01, 2015, 05:04:00 PM »
I have pictured steering stops for a V8, 6 cyl manual steering and what I believe
to be 6 cyl power steering. I did buy some time ago 6 cyl PS suspension from a guy
and believe this one stop is from that purchase. I am usually very good at marking
any spare parts as to what they came from but didn't in this case.
Can anyone verify the one in the middle as the unique 65/66 steering stop for 6 cyl PS
or maybe just what it is? It looks quite a bit different from the others.

The V8 I can say yes to, see mine in the attached. I believe your labels on the other two are correct.

Here are a few better pictures of the steering stop in question which I believe
to be for a 65/66 6 cyl with power steering, anyone have a car like this to verify?
TIA

Here are some pictures from a Nos 65/66 6 cylinder power steering set up.  The stops in the middle look just like my nos set and are correct for a 6 cylinder with p/s. Hope this helps
