65 roof rail weatherstrip retainer body seal
« on: January 30, 2015, 10:48:05 PM »
So were all cars all plants, all build dates, done the same as regards to the weatherstrip tape used between the body and the roof rail weatherstrip retainer (stainless).  I know it's common to use the 3m tape, but my car seemed to have black sealant caulk used.   Were they all the same?

I have seen strip caulking used on the earlier '65 cars, seems to have been a transition sometime in '65 to the foam seal.
