Topic: Can't find the application for this part?

I was going through my stash of exhaust brackets for my son's car and found this NOS bracket with a part # that I cannot find in the parts book.  I believe it might be a frame bracket for the inlet side of a transvers muffler.  My '70 parts book shows a C5ZZ-5A246-D as the frame bracket at the rear of the resonator.  It does not list this part (-E).  Also found was a painted one that is nearly identical except for the inside head of the rivets in the insulator.  Can anyone identify the application of this bracket?

It's a RH frame exhaust bracket for C/A code 289 cars.
