PS Pulley ID....
« on: January 24, 2015, 08:05:54 PM »
Helped a friend debug some convertible top issues and he gave me a complete 66 PS setup (replaced with Borgson style).  As most of it appears OEM, Bendix 66 date stamped ram and what appears to be OEM drag link, tie rods and control valve I gladly accepted.

The pump is obviously a later replacement.. HBA EL tag, think its mid 70s with a weird really, really long return tube (8" or so) tacked to the housing and pointing up...

The pulley is FoMoCo, stamped 5Z AIA... and a "C6" with a smaller "S2" under it. I can't find a reference.  Anyone know what it might be from?  Single sheave, and about 5 3/4" diameter.  Displaced AC pulley, or?  :-\

Can you take a photo or photos of the Pulley that shows these details...may make it easier to identify. Also, any idea what model car this assembly was pulled from and was it Dearborn, San Jose or Metuchen built?

The pulley is FoMoCo, stamped 5Z AIA...

I think that may be A1A (numeral "1", not the letter "I")
