I believe Dave is right.
In Bob's car, The "Caution: Car should be driven 25 feet...etc." tag is hanging off of the Turn signal lever/handle.
As Jeff mentioned earlier,
At shows over the years, I've seen that tag hung on the gas pedal linkage on the firewall on the Driver's side underhood on restored cars. I've also seen it hung on shifter rod just below the shifter handle inside the car. I would think that it should always be in the interior compartment.
Since we are on a wired tag kick here...
Where is the correct placement of the external seatbelt extractor tags? Wired to the extractor itself??
