I've got a yellow hang tag that reads:CAUTION-Vehicle should be driven 25 feet or more at least every 21 days that carries pn:C1TT-19C501-A--any idea as to where this tag should be hung in my '65 Dearborn K GT??

Also: Getting ready to put correct info on my "Battery OK" sticker: What do I need to put for "Charge Reading"?--I understand that the date could have been stamped or hand written, and for the "Badge" I understand that just someone's innitials should go there-or is it an employee number may be?     Thanks!

I have seen the yellow tag attached to the coil wire.  As for the voltage reading... I don't think it's voltage that is annotated but rather specific gravity of the water/acid in the battery.  The pros will probably set me straight on both of these comments, but that is what I've tracked down.

Here's an original from a July '65 Dearborn car.  I believe this car had a small battery, not sure if it would make any difference on the specific gravity reading.  Other examples are 1.275

Seen them mounted just about anywhere on restored cars but we know how unrelible they can be

Considering they were a reminder (likely removed before delivery on most cars) for the dealerships to move and operate the brakes every 21 days to keep the pistons from sticking it would make more sense to me that it was mounted somewhere visibly not under the hood, trunk or to the suspension (don't laugh seen them located there on show cars)

I would think a more logical location (until someone  shows up with original pictures of them somewhere else would be the interior mirror or shifter since that location seems to fit with being a more visible reminder

I believe if you look at Perkins 56 mile 1966 car(Mustang Monthly)the every 21 days tag is hanging from the turn signal. You see it in the picture of the original window sticker.

Dave, I haven't looked at Bob's car yet, but Charles says that my Disc brake warning tag should hang from the turn signal stalk as well.........I wonder if it would be right to display both tags on there??

I was told a long time ago that the yellow tag that tells you to drive the car 25 feet was attatched to the radio knob...

Rick, I wasn't completely sure about Bob's original 66 tag in the photo's. But the car from the photo's didn't look like it had disc. brakes.

I don't think that the tag had anything to do with disk brakes.I believe it is to keep the drive train lubed.IE rear and trans,etc.

I believe Dave is right.

In Bob's car, The "Caution: Car should be driven 25 feet...etc." tag is hanging off of the Turn signal lever/handle.

As Jeff mentioned earlier,

At shows over the years, I've seen that tag hung on the gas pedal linkage on the firewall on the Driver's side underhood on restored cars.  I've also seen it hung on shifter rod just below the shifter handle inside the car.  I would think that it should always be in the interior compartment. 

Since we are on a wired tag kick here...

Where is the correct placement of the external seatbelt extractor tags?  Wired to the extractor itself??

Considering Bob's 56 mile coupe was never dealer-prepped, I don't think you can really use it as a good example.  Bob may have just placed the tag there since he has had so many low mileage cars and it is a typical placement.
