1965 lower control arm jack tab measurements
« on: January 03, 2015, 10:46:00 PM »
Happy New Year.  Could someone please do me a favor and measure the jack tabs on a 65/66 lower control arm?  I am going to fabricate some to add to mine.

I see NPD sells the jack tabs for 67+ but they look different to me (they have bolt holes).  I believe the 65/66 had no holes in the tabs and were just welded on.

I am looking for measurements of width, height, as well as A and B below:

         _____
____|         |____
< A >< B >< A  >

I don't believe it matters, but the car is a March 65 Dearborn 289 convertible.

Thank you in advance.

The holes on the NPD jack tabs are not bolt holes but a area to weld the tabs to the arm to mimic the factory way which was spot welds . Yes 67-70 jack tabs are different the 65/66 tabs. Not surprising since so many other aspects are different between 65/66 and 67-70.
