The bend does not look right on that. Looks like and S shape as opposed to haveving the end turned 90 degrees...
You are totally right. The '65 version has an offset twist to the end. That's definitely an original you took off. Mine looked the same on my July '65 Metuchen built car. I couldn't save my hose - it was a brittle mess.Ron

Learned something new today. I had no idea the AC drip line hose for '66 was so different from the '65. Very strange that Ford went back to a rubber hose style drip line in '67 and later versions of the AC. Perhaps the plastic tube in '66 wasn't durable?
