Thanks for posting the pics Richard,
I won an auction for one for my 68 GT500 and I am getting one for one of my 69 428CJ cars.
I'll see what pulley comes on mind, I might trade you if I get one you need, I dont remember ever seeing part numbers on pulleys before, I guess most out there are after market.
I have been in contact with the seller and he (John) is very cooperative. He has offered me the C5 pulley. Interesting note and something I found out more on at deadnutson.com last night, the rear housings differ also. see images here:
http://www.deadnutson.com/albums/album_image/7071446/5278642.htmUsing Jack's identification chart for identifying, neither example in my original post would then be correct
My build date of the 67 I am working on is
11/02/66 so the first image, without the teardrop in the center of the housing would be "correct" No
(I am asking this as a QUESTION) The housing that came on mine has the teardrop and
AUTOLITE casting, so correct for 6/68 and newer, correct?
Well, that would explain the big difference in pricing I think...but I imagine,
had I requested a build to suit my needs in the first place, this vendor would have certainly done the best they could with inventory on hand.
Richard
