That wheel was part of the 69 GT package.  A 14x6 was only available on the 428 cars.  Don't know if that is a Mustang wheel as the 428 GT was replaced by the Mach 1.  Brian

Pics would help to verify the style of S/S wheel you have. The 68-69 styled steels were not used on Any 1970 cars to my knowledge. The 12/69 date is a little late to have been factory installed and suggests to me that they are a service replacement made not very long after Ford stopped installing them on cars. This style of wheel was used on Mustang, Fairlane, Torino, Ranchero in 68-69 and even 69 Cougar Eliminator. The Argent versus Chrome Centers was dependent on car model and options, such as Sprint, GT, Mach1, Etc. Argent was definitely used on 68 Sprint B Mustangs for instance. There was even period literature that showed the availability of body color painted centers (ie: Red or Blue, etc) on the 68-69 S/S wheels. I have seen a couple cars with them painted but not necessarily from the factory and I am not sure how many, if any, cars made it out with body colored S/S wheels.

We would need to see a pic to determine if any answers are helpful.
If these are in fact the 12 hole 68/69 Style steel wheels they have a unique date stamp in the center hub area on a raised lug for example 9MD  9 represents the year (1969) M represents the maker Motor Wheels and D represents the Month (April)
These wheels were all 14x6 and were either Argent Silver, optional Chrome or super rare optioned body color under the reflective group option. These were all available with any 5 lug  V8 suspension in 1968 or 1969 EXCEPT the reflective group which was only available in 1968 on GT equipped Mustangs. It included reflective paint on the C stripes and reflective paint on the steel styled wheels.

I would be interested in the wheels and could also post the pics for you regardless if we do business. I buy them and make dated sets for 68 cars.
