Floor Pan Plugs Factory Finish
« on: October 28, 2019, 11:50:06 PM »
I am restoring a 1966 Fastback Hipo GT. I have the car on the rotisserie and have just finished painting the underside of the car in red oxide primer. So, my question is what color or finish were the 4 floor pan pill shaped floor plugs from the factory. Are they also to be painted red oxide or are they silver zinc or galvanized finish. Thanks

Typically galvanized . They were installed after the chassis was painted so they are consequently unpainted.
