65 Wiper Switch ?

     Was a one speed windshield wiper with washer available for the 1965 Mustang ?  Thanks,  Brian

Thanks for the reply and confirmation.  Another couple of questions please ?   1.  I have a C4ZB-17A553-C1, 7 pin, one click switch which seems to have some ' washer pull ' .  The harness uses 5 pins, the washer pump another then there is a white wire spade connector without a home ?   2.  The harness wiper motor connection is a three hole plug with a separate black spade connector.  Is the 65 wiper motor the same three prong connector for wiper/washer and wiper non washer ?  Thanks,  Brian

That's a one-speed wiper.  The two unused spade lugs on the wiper switch itself are for the washer pump: one lead is power and the other lead goes out to the washer pump (the position of each wire is not important as it is a simple switch).  The washer pump is independent of the wiper itself.   The two speed wipers have more spades, as does the connector.  At the wiper motor, there is a four pin plug along with two spade leads (green wires with 90* spade connectors).  I believe the washer is still independent of the wiper motor in the two speed variant.

I believe the washer is still independent of the wiper motor in the two speed variant.

Thanks for the additional information.  Picture is of the fuse block.  At the top/right is the washer pump power lead to the wiper switch ?  Just trying to get as much info as I can before getting in there.  As you guys know tight quarters and 48 year old everything.   Brian

Power lead is typically picked up at the ACC post on the back of the ignition switch, although there is a white wire with a female bullet plug that is fused via the top horizontal fuse (ACC) that is part of the late 1966 harness design (which is what you have). 

I do not see what you are referring to in the picture.

Thanks for the interest.  The owners manual fuse box diagram has a provision for a 14  amp fuse for a single speed windshield washer pump and to the left of that is, on my car, the power lead for the washer pump.   I don't think this is a late 66 set up.  I have not gotten in there yet but I am pretty sure of what I will find.  I think the hardest part will be unplugging the harness from the switch.  Brian
