Newbie
« on: October 21, 2014, 10:27:54 PM »
Hello! I didn't see an intro forum, so I thought I'd give you all the courtesy of letting you know who I am.  What brought me here was when I was checking to see what a pair of rims, that I'd acquired, came off from. It went to a posting on here. I figured you guys were a knowledgeable bunch.  I'm an old retired guy. I currently do not own a Mustang. I do own a '78 Futura with an Explorer 302 and the complete running gear, fuel tank, dash, front seats, etc. from a wrecked '90 Cobra. Thought I'd check your site out.

Thank You. They a 14x6, steel.  One has been yellow at one point.  Code looks to be 8MH.  One is hard to read the suffix.
Added a pic my Futura.

Looks like painted 68 styled steel wheels (used on Torinos and Mustangs) without trim rings or hubcaps

And again, Thank You.    Not sure what I am going to do with them.  Center hole is too small to fit any 4 1/2 bolt circle Fords we own.   At least now anyway.

Thank You.   Now to figure out to either sell them or just put them on the shelf. If I had all four, I'd wait until I had something I could use them on.  Not going to buy 2 more though.

I have decided to sell these rims.  What are they worth? I don't want to rip anyone off, I just want them gone.  LMK and I'll post them in the "For Sale" section.
