Topic: '68 deluxe interior trim detail

Have looked around at a number of sites/posts on the location of the buttons for the '68 deluxe interior.

Numbers range from 4" to 4 7/8" down from the welt seam between bolster and insert to the top of the buttons.

Anyone have a definitive and consistently repeated location, or did it vary as noted by measurements to "original" seats noted in the in the various posts I have found?

Have a custom made TMI set with OEM SMS provided comfort weave and only want to punch the holes once, and hopefully in the right place...!

Didn't think this was such a stumper... found info on other sites and had a few matching values of 4 1/2" to the top of the badge, 5" to the upper pin so went with that.

Sorry (on my part) just didn't have any originals to measure for you. And wasn't about to post any info from redone seats

So I'm a tad lower... done and installed so if anyone breaks out a tape mesaure I'm in trouble!!! (assuming they were all identical!)
