70 mach 1 fender rocker molding holes
« on: July 20, 2014, 06:34:54 PM »
are there supposed to be holes in the fenders for the rocker moldings? ok dumb question. Does anyone have a picture of a mach fender with the holes, i assume i will have to use the molding to locate the holes and drill them, one of my fender is from a  grande, i transfered the mustang emblem holes from one side to the other using a  template, i believe the other fender wasnt a mach 1 fender either. Not sure if the mustang emblem is in the correct location, but looks like about where restored machs are. Any advice would be helpful, thanks

Yes

Apparently I don't have a real nice picture of the whole surface with the panel and trim off - can only offer the following in hopes that it will help out some

Looks like possibly 5 holes. If you run out of options I would center the cladding where you want it to end up. Tape the edges so you can relocate it in the exact some spot again. Mark the holes from the back by one of many transfer methods and install
