On that bracket with the large hole I was thinking of using a flat washer and a fiber lock nut. I will do the concours correct hardware when I restore the whole car. I am very concerned about hardware coming loose and being ingested in to the engine. The car's VIN is 8T02J126886 built 12-02-67 It has the original Marchals and cast intake with the Autolite 4300. Interestingly it also has a 6A interior. I think most had the comfort weave knitted vinyl inserts. Thanks for your help I plan to have it at the Lincoln MCA national show are you going to be able to make it?Marty
If you are concerned about the nut working loose and falling in the carb you can also substitute a bolt in place of the threaded rod and nut(still use washer) . ..........
