Wow, 46 years ago today my near life-long companion rolled off the Dearborn assembly plant, three days ahead of its scheduled build date. My mother and I picked up Murphy three days later.

Yes, it crossed it in Las Vegas.  Jim Smart went for a ride with me on Saturday and we did the 9.6 miles that was needed to roll the odometer.  It was 100,000 at the 50th!

Congrats to you and your wonderful car. Your post jogged my memory that today (June 4th) is my car' birthday. I'm the second owner, and 2014 marks 40 years of ownership for me.
