Concerning the front seat tracks, there's a black plastic handle attached to the lever which one must move to allow the seat to cycle fwd or bkwd. On both driver and passenger side seat tracks, of this particular car, I noticed that upon close inspection there are paint runs on the plastic handles at the tips of these levers. So that got me wondering whether or not this is a result of a sloppy repaint at some point in the cars life, or was this perhaps how the factory or external supplier painted these parts? I can see how the tracks could have been hung up to be painted as an assembly, with the plastic handles already attached, and paint applied in sloppy fashion to everything at once.
I'm more inclined to think this is a poor repaint by a previous owner, but want to check with the experts since I can also speculate that these assemblies could have been painted like this from day one.
