Topic: 1969 351W vintage water pump

I am planning on a rebuild of my 69 351W engine. I am looking for a direct replacement water pump that will be concours approved It can be rebuilt or new. The one that is on the motor right now is a Fomoco. It has been on this 351W for about 20 years, so i am assuming that it might be the original one. Thanks for any help. Rich

What class are you planing on showing the car in?

If concours then what you can do is to take your original to any parts supplier that sell rebuilt pump and compare what they have to your original  (basically the shape and features of the front casting)  New water pumps often have a completely different look that will be easy to identify.

You might get lucky and find one with a decent date for your car
