1970 mustang glovebox light switch
« on: January 30, 2014, 06:19:57 PM »
I have two different switches, one has D0WB-14413-A and other is C9WB-14413A. 10-20-1969 Dearborn, the D0WB one has much smaller gauge wiring and has a round chrome ring with two flats, if this is the correct one for my car, which way do the flats line up, tops and bottom when mounted. Thanks a ton!

here are light switches in question, the one on the right(D0WB) is the one JD Larson sent me, he has been real good about this kind of thing, but it just doesn't look right to me.

Sorry have no 70's at home. There are two Dearborn convertibles at a local shop I'll take a look at later in the week

Thanks Jeff, I can't believe no one else has any idea about this.

Have to remember 70 was a fairly low volume year. Think I've only owned one  (out of approx 75) over the years.

We'll try and get you some help :)

I purchased the map light and it came with the wires and switches, probably a 69 cars' map/wiring/switch, I figured they would be the same for 69 and 70s. but that's good news on your switch maynard, thanks, how are your flats on the bezel oriented, top/bottom or sides.
