steering column spacers
« on: October 10, 2013, 06:08:49 PM »
Hey guys, I was wondering on my Mach 1 could I remove the 1 set of additional spacers between the steering column and the dash? If I did so, it sure would be easier to get in and out (not as thin as I used to be) but would it mean the instrument cluster, or the lower dash cover, or the rubber trim piece would then not fit?
Thanks.

Yes you can remove one of the two (each side) spacers but as Ed mentioned you'll need to get a new donut to better cover the gap created. This will tilt the steering wheel more skyward and change the angle of the wheel to driver.
