Topic: 69 steering column cover lower dash

Hi all,

i wanted to buy a new or original used steering column cover, lower dash. I found out that all the repros look like the cover in the 1. picture.
Why are there these differences in the attaching lips? Both pictures show original parts. Is the difference for tilt-away and normal steering columns?
