Last email stated you were collecting pictures. Guess we will be reviewing to pick up the pieces after that amount of time. Won't have time to focus until after a weeding coming up

I would be inclined to say flat black. I have three used LH sections (from sources unknown) that are in good condition and the paint is not shiny at all.

Out in the sun for many years will make them fade and look flat black

Re-painted mine with a slight sheen and they turned out nice.

You can just see the remains of the black paint on my 9/65 SJ car here.  It does look flat.

Most I have seen are flat black, but as mentioned, I figured the paint could be faded, which is why I recommend a satin black.  Definitely would have a very low gloss.  It's a really sharp detail when done correctly.
